Want Customers to Shop In Your Store and Buy More?

Have your employees wear name badges!

Social Science Research Solutions (SSRS) recently conducted a random survey of 1,000 men and women on behalf of Imprint Plus about their retail habits, and the results are surprising:

  • 59% stated they were more likely to shop in a store where they knew the sales associate by name, title and area of expertise.
  • More important, 57% of that total claimed they would buy more merchandise and frequent a store more often when they had a relationship with the sales associate by name.
  • 70% of all respondents agreed on the importance of identifying a sales person by name.
  • 76% stated they have more trust in a business whose employees wear name badges, and consider the company more professional.
