A. Yes, Imprint Plus name badges and signage products are both reusable and recyclable. Our name badges and Lenscovers are 100% recyclable and reusable. Our pins are also recyclable and reusable, with new adhesive.

Q. How do I place an order?

A. An order can be placed online, or directly with an Imprint Plus Account Representative. Please visit the online order form to submit your order via the web. You can communicate with an Imprint Plus Account Representative by calling 1-800-563-2464, email sales@imprintplus.com, or fax at 604-278-7149.

Q. What is your minimum order?

A. Imprint Plus allows for order of 10+ name badges, or US$50.00+.

Q. Will my products come with a guarantee or warranty?

A. Imprint Plus guarantees your absolute satisfaction. Every product we sell meets our stringent quality and design requirements. Our job is not done until we have exceeded your expectations. The Imprint Plus team commits to 100% satisfaction—guaranteed.
Our color matching and screen printing are guaranteed perfect, as well.

Q. What is your Return/Exchange Policy?

A. Returns
  • Factory printed product is not returnable, exchangeable and/or returnable.
  • Customers may return full or partial orders of blank product for full refund if all of the following conditions are met:
    a) Imprint Plus is notified within 45 days of shipment;
    b) The product is returned to Imprint Plus by the customer within 30 days of the call to Imprint Plus;and
    c) The components are still in original packaging.
Errors on Customer Product
  • Imprint Plus will replace any product that is determined by the customer to be defective if the following conditions are met:
    a) Imprint Plus is notified within 3 months of shipment; and
    b) Imprint Plus is able to pick up defective product for evaluation.

  • Imprint Plus will send replacement product at Imprint Plus’ cost.
  • Imprint Plus will arrange for pickup of defective product at Imprint Plus’s cost.

Imprint Plus Shipping Questions

Q. Who do you ship with?

A. UPS Ground Shipping is standard for Imprint Plus’ shipments to the United States. For shipments to Canada, Imprint Plus uses Corporate Couriers, Canada Post, or FedEx.

Q. What’s your standard turnaround time?

A. Submitted orders will be processed by the system within 24 hours. We boast a 48-hour turnaround time for in-stock products. For customized products, our turnaround time is 5 business days plus shipping.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. Yes, we ship internationally (outside of USA and Canada). Imprint Plus employs TNT or FedEx to ship to our international clientele.

Q. Help! I need a rush order!

A. We can rush products easily when they are in-stock. These rush orders will ship out within 24 hours plus shipping time. Rush fees may apply.

Q. Where will my name badges be shipped from?

A. Most orders ship out of Richmond, BC, but we also have a warehouse in Blaine, WA.

Q. What is an EIN? Why is it required?

A. An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number. It is used to identify a business entity.
An EIN is required for all US businesses because the US Customs Authority requires it. If you don’t provide the EIN, you risk delaying your order.

Imprint Plus Product Pricing Questions

Q. How do I pay?

A. US and Canadian customers are welcome to pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express only) and checks. Invoicing is permitted on approved terms only.
Please note that we charge Visa and Mastercard users in US funds, and charge Amex users in Canadian funds. Daily exchange rates will apply.
International customers must pay by check, or wire transfer, in US funds.

Q. When will my credit card get charged?

A. Once Imprint Plus receives your order, your credit card will be charged within 24 hours.

Q. Can you bill me?

A. Yes, we can invoice for customers on approved terms. If you are ordering US$250.00+ of Imprint Plus merchandise, you are welcome to complete a credit application and submit it (via fax or email) to our Accounting Department. The Imprint Plus Accounting Department will notify you if and when you are approved for invoicing. You can reach our Accounting Department by fax at 604-278-7149.

Q. Can I track my order?

A. You will receive an order confirmation by email within 48 hours of placing your order. The confirmation email proves that your order has been placed.
A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships.
*If you do not receive these emails, please contact your Imprint Plus Account Representative at 1-800-563-2464. S/he will help you track your order.

Q. Will I be charged tax and/or duties?

A. Imprint Plus does not charge US customers taxes or duties. State taxes may apply to your order.
GST and Provincial Taxes will be charged to Canadian customers.
Imprint Plus does not charge tax or duties to International customers, but International customers will bear the cost of any local taxes or duties.

Name Badge Artwork/Design Questions

Q. What format should I use to send you my logo?

A. Please send your artwork to us as a vector image file or EPS file. Please see detailed artwork specifications, and/or download the Imprint Plus Artwork Requirement Form.

Q. Will I receive a proof of my customized name badges before the order ships?

A. A layout proof will be emailed to you within 24 hour of your order submission. Please review the proof, and notify us of any necessary changes. We will not ship your order until you approve the proof.

Q. Will I receive a sample of my customized name badges before the order ships?

A. We can send you a sample of your customized name badge before your order ships, but this is not a standard service. If you elect to receive a sample, a fee of US$50.00 plus shipping applies. However, this US$50.00 is considered a deposit: once you approve the sample and your order ships, you will be credited US$50.00 towards your order. Sample shipping costs are non-refundable.

Q. What image formats can I use?

A. NamePrint Graphics can support .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .dib, and .gif files.

Q. When I insert a picture in the design view, my picture looks like a block of color. What’s wrong?

A. Try to save your image file in CMYK color mode, and set the resolution to 300 dpi. If that doesn’t work to clarify your image [in the design view], try opening the image file with any photo editor program, and re-save the file as “for web”. By saving the file this way, NamePrint Graphics should be able to read it better.

Q. I’ve inserted a very large image in to NamePrint Graphics. How do I shrink it?

A. Please follow the five steps listed below:
1) After you’ve inserted a large picture and you’re in NameTag Design view, hit the TAB button to select the picture
2) Click Object: Properties
3) Make to check off your aspect ratio
4) Change the width to a lower number. The value is in inches.
5) The picture should shrink. If the picture is too small or too big, repeat the process until if fits your needs.

Q. Help! I’m having trouble inserting my image to create a new template!

A. Normally the compatible image size s about 10-40 KB.
When image definitions are too high, the image file will be large. It may have been edited by a photo editor before. To resolve this issue, open up the image with any photo edit, and resave it as “for web”.

Name Badge Tech Questions

Q. How do I contact Imprint Plus technical support?

A. Technical Support Information: Imprint Plus technical support hours are 7 am to 5 pm PST
You can reach Imprint Plus tech support toll free in the US and Canada at 1-866-540-5417, and via email at techsupport@imprintplus.com. Tech support is also reachable via fax at 604-321-7148.

Q. I purchased the Imprint Plus software, so why is my software an evaluation version?

A. Your software will remain as an evaluation version until it is activated. You will find a serial number (SN) sticker on the back of the CD envelope, which will be used to activate it.

Q. How do I activate the software?

A. There are two ways to activate the software:

(1) Activate Online: When you put in the CD and the software runs, a window will pop up prompting you to enter your CD’s serial number.
Please enter the serial number (SN) with the dash (-) sign
Password: Please create your own password to protect your copy

Note: If the system did not respond, it might because your firewall security settings are too high. In this case, please give us a call at 1-866-540-5417 to active by phone.

(2) Active by Phone: Please call the tech support line at 1-866-540-5417 to activate the Software. If the activation has been successful, you should see a dialog box that reads, “Activation has been completed successfully!” Please click “Ok”.

Name Badge Printing Questions

Q. When I print out the personalization sheets, the text and/or image(s) look faded!

A. Try increasing the print quality as much as possible. When you select which printer you’ll be using, click Properties: Print Quality. Select a better “Print Quality”. Click OK.

Q. I’m not printing a full page of names on the personalization sheet. Can I reuse my plastic insert sheet?

A. If you are using our classic insert sheet, you can reuse your personalization sheet, at least until you can no longer remove a complete row. At that point, after removing each insert that has printed, you can no longer put the insert sheet through the printer again. If you generally print one or two names, it is best to separate the insert sheet into 2 single columns using the lengthwise perforation. Print using the envelope feeder of your printer by selecting a custom envelope size of 4.25" by 11". See your on-line help or Getting Started guide for more details. If your version of NamePrint Graphics is 1.03 or earlier, we now have an expanded version of the Getting Started Guide that you can download from our download area. If it's not there, email to techsupport@imprintplus.com and we'll email you a copy in Adobe (.pdf) format.

Q. Why won’t my picture/logo print out on the personalization sheets?

A. Troubleshoot with me!
1) In NameTag Design view, open your template
2) Hit the TAB key until the picture is selected/highlighted. If the picture is selected, it should have a dotted border around it.
3) Click Object: Properties.
4) Check off the setting "Print to the Printer", and click OK.
5) Save changes
6) Click Window: Data Entry view.
7) Click File: New, and select the file you modified. NOTE: If it asks you to save your data file, say no.
8) Enter one tag, then click File: Print Preview. If you see your picture in the Print Preview window, then the picture will print.

Q. Help! When I print out my personalization sheet, the ink doesn’t dry and my text/graphics smear!

A. If your ink is bubbly and/or wipes off easily, a quick fix idea is to flip the insert sheet so the "Print on this face" side is facing down. Some printers take in and flip paper, which makes it print on the other side. You can test if your printer does this with a piece of paper: Write “Front” on the paper, and draw arrows in the direction of your print feed. Print something, and see where the “Front” side ends up.

Name Badge Personalization Questions

Q. Can I set NamePrint Graphics to a preferred, default template?

A. Yes, you can! Please follow the instructions below:
1) Open NamePrint Graphics, and click "Modify a Nametag".
2) Select and open the template you want to set as default
3) Click Tools: Template Properties
4) Check off "Set as Default Template File" and click OK.

Q. Help! Why am I seeing three or more columns?

A. When you see more than two columns of tags in data entry mode, your screen resolution is set too high. This program reads the tags consecutively, not by column, so seeing three or more columns doesn’t pose a problem. i.e.: If tag #3 is in the third column, it will still print the tag in the first column of a brand new/second sheet. The program always reads odd-numbered columns as column one’s, and even-numbered columns are column two’s.

Q. I want to print more badges than appear on my screen. Can I do that?

A. Personalize the last tag on your screen and press the Tab key. The screen should scroll up and display more empty tags for you to personalize. There is virtually no limit to the number of tags you can enter.

Q. I want leave a line on my name badge blank, but the text won’t budge!

A. When you want to enter a blank line in a tag, simply hit the [SPACE] bar. By doing this, the program reads that there is something there, and won't revert back to textbox title.

Q. I have both 1-line and 2-line configurations: I've entered my 1-line tags; can I personalize my 2-line tags in the same screen?

A. Position your mouse on an empty tag and right-click. From the pop-up menu, select “Change Template”. In the “Change Template” dialog box, select the new/different nametag template you want to switch over to. The nametag will appear on your screen, and you can immediately begin personalizing.

Q. I really want to use a different template of the same size in the current data entry file. How do I do this?

A. While in the data entry view, click Edit: Change Template and choose a template you want to switch over to. Note: You can only change to another template that is the same size as your current template.

Q. I made changes to a template and saved it, but when I go back to data entry view, the changes have not updated. Can I retrieve the changes I saved?

A. Once a template has been modified, you must reload it. Go back to the Data Entry view, click File: New, and select the template you modified.
