Q. Is your product recyclable?

A. Yes, Imprint Plus products are both recyclable and reusable. Our name badges and Lenscovers are 100% recyclable and reusable. Our pins are also recyclable and reusable, with new adhesive.

At Imprint Plus we consider stewardship of the environment an important part of doing business. It starts with our products: The Reusable Name Badge, and our buffet signage are all reusable, with only the insert changing if turnover occurs or a menu changes. This significantly extends the usage life of the badge itself, reducing both the environmental impact and the lifetime cost of each badge. Another Imprint Plus product, the Panorama® badge along with its insert and Lenscover, are reusable and more significantly 100% recyclable.

Imprint Plus actively takes steps to reduce the impact of our manufacturing process on the environment. Our employees are on board. We’re working together to make our lives at work, and at home, greener, and it shows.

At Imprint Plus we have employed the following initiatives to lessen our environmental footprint and continue to look for ways to reduce, reuse or recycle throughout the company.

Imprint Plus aligns with your eco-conscious values and goals:

Imprint Plus printed materials are produced with paper that is high in Post-Consumer waste, and produced with vegetable based inks
The Imprint Plus 2008 catalog was produced with 100% post consumer New Leaf® Sakura 100 paper, processed chlorine free and energy used was offset with Green e-certified renewable energy certificates
The Imprint Plus Panorama® name badge and the accompanying Lenscover are completely recyclable
Imprint Plus office mixed paper recycling is performed by Recall
Corrugated cardboard is reused and recycled through Waste Management
Imprint Plus uses the smallest packaging available to the point that it does not compromise the safety and integrity of the product
Metal waste from the fabrication process is recycled through Pacific Metal Recycling International
*Screen Printing waste ink is disposed of in environmentally safe manner by Tri-Arrow Industrial Recovery Inc.
*Reclaiming Screens used in the screen printing process are cleaned using a water safe cleaner
*Soiled rags from the screen printing process are cleaned offsite by Canadian Linen supply
Employees car pool, telecommute or ride transit whenever possible to reduce their individual carbon footprint

*Processes reviewed by the Greater Vancouver Regional District for approval
