Where are my name badge templates?

“My NPG” or “NamePrint Gr” folder on your desktop

When the program is first installed it places a folder onto your desktop called “My NPG” or “NamePrint Gr”; this is the default folder NPG uses to save its templates.

Copy the above link into an Explorer window. The folder is hidden by default in Windows, you may need to contact your local IT to be able to navigate to the folder. Depending on the version of you software the templates will either be in the “NamePrint Gr” folder or a “My NPG” subfolder.

Search for *.ipt files in Windows

If your templates cannot be found in the default location you can run a search on your system. Include “hidden files and folders” in your search if that option is available to you.

If your logo is printed on the metal inserts, we have custom-made templates for your company. The templates will be on the software cd you received with your purchase. Insert your disk and navigate to: “CD/DVD Drive:\setup\custom\My NPG” to find your templates.
