If you ask Brenda Castells what an Account Manager does, she won’t give you a long speech. She’ll simply say she helps people find the right badge, then quietly handle five moving parts in the background to make that happen. She guides customers from “I have no idea what I need” to “this is exactly what I was looking for,” and she makes it feel easy. That’s the magic of working with her. Calm, steady, and somehow always warm, even on the busiest days.
A Win That Hit Different
When she heard she’d won this month’s Wall of Success, she felt touched more than anything. A soft, genuine surprise. The kind that makes you stop for a second and think, “Oh… that meant something to someone.”
Her proudest moment this month was supporting the Triple Crown order and closing her first large RFID card deal. She’ll tell you she was nervous about selling key cards because there’s “so much to know,” but she learned fast, handled every detail, and got the order out the door. Most people would brag. Brenda just smiles and hopes the client has a smooth experience.
And she doesn’t take the win alone. She’s grateful to Divya S and Jhesusa for nominating her, Customer Service for always backing her up, and Maria for stepping in when things get busy. She notices the help, and she remembers it.
Her Work, Her Way

When it comes to Imprint Plus products, she wishes more customers cared about Badge Talkers. She still wears her Work Vibe talker from last year, and it becomes an instant conversation starter on every Teams call. She loves how something so small can make people light up.
If she could trade jobs for a day, she’d head to the Production floor. Not to switch careers, but because she finds it fascinating to see how each piece becomes a finished product. She genuinely cares about the process behind the things she sells.
Her desk essential? A notebook and a pen. She writes everything down. Every order, every question, every reminder. It’s not just a habit. It’s the quiet system that keeps her grounded when things get busy.
What People Don’t See

From the outside, Account Management looks simple. But Brenda knows that every order has layers: artwork, timelines, shipping preferences, last-minute changes, and sometimes a bit of detective work to figure out what a customer actually meant. She handles it with patience and calm, even when the day gets hectic.
Around the office, she laughs the most with Divya S, Chandan, and Delaine. Jhesusa’s sarcasm also sneaks in to brighten her day. And one of her favorite memories so far is getting to know coworkers outside the office and realizing those connections turned into real friendships.
What People Don’t See

Weekends are for moving her body, resetting her mind, and catching up with friends she hasn’t seen in a while. She loves exploring the city and finding new pockets of Vancouver she hasn’t wandered through yet. Running and hiking fuel her, and she’s currently on a personal mission to run across every major bridge. Lions Gate and Alex Fraser are already conquered. More to come.
If she had a spontaneous two-day break, she’d be in Kelowna. Lakes, sunshine, wineries, slow mornings. The kind of trip where your shoulders drop an inch and you feel like yourself again.
Quick Picks
- Sweet or salty? Sweet
- Coffee or Tea? Coffee
- Starry night or city skyline? She refuses to choose. Beaches raised her, mountains won her heart.
- Planner or go-with-the-flow? Planner
- One word friends would use? Reliable. Also a good listener.
Looking Ahead
She’s looking forward to strengthening her relationships with her accounts and learning more of the operational side of the products she supports. She wants to help customers with the kind of confidence that comes from really knowing the work behind each item.
If Imprint Plus ever released a badge inspired by her? She calls it the Mamacita Badge. Something warm, fun, rooted in her culture, and guaranteed to make someone smile before they put it on.
Her advice for someone new is gentle and generous: ask questions, don’t hesitate to reach out, and take time to learn the products. This team wants you to succeed.
Why Brenda Matters
Brenda is the kind of person who makes the company better just by being who she is. Thoughtful. Supportive. Curious. She shows customers patience and kindness, and she shows her teammates what dependable looks like. The Wall of Success is about celebrating moments, but also celebrating the people who make those moments possible.
Brenda is one of them, and we’re better for it.
