We are looking for an experienced Production Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production processes and the ability to develop and implement effective production schedules. The Production Scheduler will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with internal customers, and ensuring that all production deadlines are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and make a real impact on our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Plan Production to meet daily, weekly, and monthly Orders.
- Determine resources like manpower, raw materials, machine hours needed to meet the demand.
- Identify, highlight, coordinate and participate to resolve constraints to meet daily orders within target lead times.
- Plan MTS (make to stock) items and schedule to achieve target min/max levels.
- Quarterly review stock level changes with Operations manager and update.
- Coordinate and recommend team leaders and supervisors to allocate resources throughout the department based on skills and capacity requirements.
- Address sales order issues when they arise, aiming for minimum disruption in operations.
- Participate and assist with Inventory Counts.
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
- Facilitate daily operation leaders’ team huddle.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
You Possess:
- High school diploma / related post-secondary education
- Strong working knowledge of ERP Systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and reporting tools e.g. Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- High attention to detail, efficient, independent, and organized
- Preferred knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,143.18-$60,668.66 per year
