Imprint Plus Offers Eco-Friendly, Reusable Name Badges and Signage

According to data released by the American Staffing Association (ASA), U.S. staffing companies employed an average of 3.21 million temporary and contract workers per week in 2016, essentially unchanged (-0.3%) from 2015. This was the second-highest number of staffing employees for any year since the inception of the ASA Staffing Employment and Sales Survey in 1992.

NEW YORK, NY – April 11, 2017 – During all of 2016, staffing companies hired a total of 14.49 million temporary and contract employees. The average length of employment with a staffing company was 11.5 weeks in 2016, slightly longer than the tenure of 10.8 weeks in 2015.

For its busy spring season, Home Depot, the nation’s largest home improvement chain, announced that it was hiring more than 80,000 workers nationwide.  The retailer also stated that more than half of the temporary, seasonal workers stay on for permanent employment.  The new jobs include sales, operations and cashier positions across all departments.  Typically this is the season that golf resorts, clubs, parks and recreation facilities, and summer camps also employ extra help.

Imprint Plus makes it possible to create reusable, customized, and professional-looking metallic name badges on-site with the use of a laser or inkjet printer to easily identify temporary, seasonal or contract employees on an as-needed basis.  Because the systems are reusable, no new ordering or waiting for printing is required. A  quality name badge stating name, title and company is a personalized introduction or ‘hand-shake’ to the customer, one that clearly establishes  a pathway to developing better customer relations, as well as generating more sales and frequent visits.

“Our cost effective, do-it-yourself name badge and signage system means that you can create customized, reusable name badges and signage without paying costly fees or waiting days to receive them,” says Kristin MacMillan, President of Imprint Plus.

“It is important that seasonal or temporary workers are professionally identified and branded in the workplace and not look like an add-on to the permanent work staff,” continues Ms. MacMillan. “Rather than sticking on a plain paper label or pinning on a plastic name tag, employers are choosing sleek, impressive-looking metallic name badges that showcase the wearer professionally, and magnetically stay in place without falling off or damaging clothing. As a bonus, their reusable and recyclable components make them an ecofriendly solution.”

Imprint Plus manufactures an assortment of reusable employee identity systems that range from customized company name badge and signage systems for large numbers of employees; to The Mighty Badge Kit, perfect for the small to mid-size businesses with 10-50 employees; to YouWho name badges in two- and four-unit kits, starting at $25.
