Sumeet Verma, our dedicated Production Manager began his journey in the heart of Punjab, India, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2004. In May 2022, Sumeet joined Imprint Plus in the position of Production Supervisor, bringing with him a wealth of experience and operations expertise. Before joining us, he served as a Production Supervisor at Phantom Screens for over two years, honing his leadership skills and contributing to the organization's success.
Growing up, Sumeet’s family taught him the importance of kindness and helping others, which has become his life's mission. He embodies the spirit of empathy and compassion. Having come from humble beginnings, Sumeet firmly believes that every problem can be resolved through dialogue, and he wholeheartedly embraces a peaceful approach to life. His commitment to fostering understanding and spreading kindness shines through in all aspects of his work and interactions.
Sumeet is a nature lover. He finds solace and inspiration in the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounds him, especially the magnificent landscapes of British Columbia, where he now lives with his family. He marvels at the wonders of nature and envisions a world where humans can coexist harmoniously with their environment.
What's the first thing on your mind every morning?
My mornings always start with gratitude and my water bottle.
Describe the work you do at Imprint Plus in one sentence or phrase.
My work is managing operations and innovating to solve problems with the aim of reducing waste and adding value to make processes leaner and more efficient.
Personally, and professionally, what do you consider yourself an expert on?
I am a master of a yogic way of life - a minimalist lifestyle and an all-around jack of all trades. As a professional, I am skilled in analyzing data, statistics, and reports; and generating innovative solutions to improve outcomes.
What/who inspires you?
I have always had a deep love for nature. My mind is stimulated by nature, and I am inspired by its beauty and wonder. Spending time in the wilderness and going on hikes rejuvenates me from the inside out.
Tell us one thing we don't know about you.
Outside of work, I am a licensed financial advisor and an extremely passionate photographer. I'm also involved with the organizing team for Repair Café Kamloops.

What's your favorite TV show?
Whenever I am watching documentaries, I prefer the ones that reflect inspiring real-life experiences as well as those about UFOs. Some of my favorite shows recently have been Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Black Mirror.
What's your go-to productivity trick?
I keep a list of things I need to accomplish and follow it every day. To stay on track with my to-do list, I allot a certain amount of time to each task and stay focused on completing them one at a time.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute to your success and why?
The virtues of patience and persistence. I find that it helps my team and I stay calm under any stressful situation so that I can make the right decision.
What was your first job?
My favorite memory as a kid was giving my mom a head massage and getting paid for it. On a serious note, my first job was as an Industrial Engineering Intern with a Tractor Manufacturing Company.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
The things I enjoy most are hiking, gardening, and catching up with friends. It's also nice to be at home, doing chores around the house, reading, watching television and sneaking in a little extra sleep.
What's one thing that surprised you about working at Imprint Plus?
While all our Imprint Plus products appear to be easy to use, there are so many minute details that play an important role starting from the manufacturing process and ordering until the order leaves our facility and beyond.
