Employee spotlight of the month: Heidi Kwok - Finance Manager

Born in Hong Kong, a vibrant city full of bustling energy, Heidi moved to Canada with her family when she was five years old. As a young girl, she grew up with her two other siblings and shares an extremely close bond with her family. Heidi has a deep respect for nature and is an avid outdoorswoman. When it's nice outside, she enjoys hiking and riding her bike. A travel enthusiast at heart, she is particularly fascinated by locations filled with historical significance.

As a teen, Heidi knew she wanted to pursue the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation after a guest speaker visited her high school to introduce three different types of accounting designations. She chose CMA because of her passion for analysis and the ability to make decisions based on numbers. At age of 25, she graduated from the CMA program. Her post-CMA career further included taking courses from the Corporate Finance Institute and volunteering for the Chartered Professional Accountant Financial Literacy Program.

In April 2019, Heidi joined the Imprint Plus team as the Accounting Supervisor and took charge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxes, and financial reporting. In August of 2020, she was promoted to Finance Manager where she is responsible for strategic planning, internal control, company policies, and financial forecasting.
