Employee spotlight of the month: Jason - Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

A hard worker, tenacious and kind-hearted person, Jason is Imprint Plus' comeback guy. He started his first stint with Imprint Plus as a shipper and backup logistics coordinator. After a while, Jason had to say goodbye to British Columbia in order to start a new life in New Brunswick when they decided to invest in a new home. When Jason and his wife moved to the new province, they quickly realized how much they missed their families and friends back home. Eventually, they decided to move back to British Columbia. Plus, the eight months of winter were far from what they had expected.

After returning to British Columbia he was given the opportunity to rejoin Imprint Plus. Currently, Jason is the Warehouse Shipper/Receiver, which means he is the guardian for all the precious shipments that we receive and ship out. As the one who’s the last and first point of contact for all incoming and outgoing packages, Jason’s job requires thorough concentration and focus. He is in charge of preparing all merchandise for shipping and also making sure the incoming materials are checked and verified.

Jason is currently enrolled at BCIT, working towards his diploma in International Trade and Transportation Logistics. Always eager to learn, you will often find him attending seminars on Exporting to the USA, Importing into Canada, Incoterms, Export Controls, NAFTA, Tariff Regulatory updates compliance, to name a few, in all aspects of the movement of goods industry.

Jason also holds a certificate from Kwantlen Polytechnic University specializing in Automotive Parts and Light Warehousing which he completed in 1991. Jason is passionate about gaming! A hardcore gamer at heart he can be found either playing on his home PC or on his cell phone non-stop during his free time. He recently participated in a Nation Wars 5 tournament and represented Team Canada by ranking amongst the top 20 players.
